Brand Fact Sheet
George Killian’s Irish Red
George Killian's® Irish Red™ is a traditional lager with an authentic Irish heritage, based on the Killian family's recipe created for the George Killian's brewery in Enniscorthy, Ireland in 1864. Coors Brewing Company acquired the rights to brew and market the product in America and George Killian’s was introduced to the United States in 1981. Coors proudly brews every frothy pint of George Killian’s that embodies the same richness and flavor of its Irish tradition.
George Killian’s Irish Red is known for its rich amber color and think, creamy head. The brew derives it distinctive red-amber color and taste from a special caramel malt that has been roasted at a high temperature longer and more slowly than most malts. There are no coloring agents or artificial additives used in brewing George Killian’s.
George Killian’s is available nationally and packaged in bottles, cans and kegs. A 12-ounce serving of George Killian’s has 163 calories and 4.9 percent alcohol by volume.
