Peter Swinburn

President and Chief Executive Officer, Coors Brewing Company

A veteran of the beer industry, Mr. Swinburn was recently appointed president and chief executive officer of Coors Brewing Company. He previously served as chief executive officer of Coors Brewers Limited where he was responsible for the company’s business in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia. Prior to this role, he served as president of Coors Brewing Worldwide, a division of Coors Brewing Company, and as chief operating officer of Coors Brewers Limited. Swinburn joined the company in 1974 and served in several senior roles in marketing, retail management and sales, including chief operating officer for Coors Brewers Ltd., sales director for Coors Brewers Limited and Bass Brewers, and director of Grolsch U.K., a joint venture between Coors Brewers and Grolsch. He also served as chairman for Tradeteam, a logistics company jointly owned by Coors Brewers and DHL. Swinburn graduated from the University of Wales with a BSc Honours in Economics.
