MONTREAL, QC, JUNE 14 - Molson Coors and the Teamsters Local 1999 Union have a new 5-year collective bargaining agreement after unionized employees at the Longueuil brewery ratified the deal in a vote held on June 10th, 2022. The new collective agreement covers 420 employees. Local 1999 employees have returned to work on June 14th, 2022.
“Molson Coors has a long history of providing jobs with great working conditions that help our employees support themselves and their families. This new five-year collective bargaining agreement is fair and equitable for our employees and our company,” said Frederic Landtmeters, President of Molson Coors in Canada. “As of today, our teams will work hard to fully relaunch our production and distribution operations. Our goal is to do this as soon as possible, while maintaining a healthy and safe work environment for all”.
