Celebrating International Women In Engineering Day
This year we celebrated International Women in Engineering Day by highlighting the talented female engineers we have at Molson Coors Western Europe and the important contributions they are making every day.
Female engineers are under-represented in the UK, with 2021 figures indicating they only represent 16.5% of all engineers. By joining in International Women in Engineering Day we share its aim to promote engineering opportunities to women across the globe and encourage more women to take up an engineering career path.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is a key component of our culture at Molson Coors and our focus on Women in Engineering also includes our partnerships with Women in STEM at Aston University and the Women in Engineering Society – sharing our culture and promoting opportunities for engineering careers here at Molson Coors.
We are proud of our inclusive culture and to mark International Women in Engineering Day 2023 we have launched a series of videos showcasing some of our female engineers in the U.K. Through their important contribution in this field, they are inspiring the next generation of women looking to start a career in STEM.
Watch Toni, Radhika, Jill, Jennifer and Evie as they tell us about the passion they have for their chosen field, what they love about their work, the enjoyment the get from working Molson Coors, and some of their advice for future generations of women considering an engineering career path.
