Queso con carne

PAIR THIS DELICIOUS DIP WITH TOPO CHICO HARD SELTZER AND EL RANCHERO SALTED TORTILLA CHIPS

Ingredients

½ pound ground chuck

8 ounces American processed cheddar cheese

2 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

2 4-ounce cans green chiles

½ teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon cumin

Diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños and cilantro for garnishing

Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

In a large nonstick skillet over high heat, brown the beef until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate.

Reduce heat to medium-low, add cheeses and cook, stirring often, until they melt. Stir in ground beef, chiles, chili powder and cumin. 

Pour into a heated ceramic bowl and top with a few diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños and cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips.
