On Wednesday, (28th August), we welcomed new MP for Burton & Uttoxeter, Jacob Collier, to our Burton brewery. During the visit we shared our plans to invest around £80m in Burton over the next five years.

Staffordshire County Council manages Cannock Chase Country Park, which is a beautiful area of heathland and wood pasture in the south of the county. 

Sharp's celebrate 30 years of world class brewing in Rock

Monday 26th August marks 30 years since Bill Sharp, the founder of Sharp’s Brewery and creator of the UK’s number one cask ale, Doom Bar, dispatched the first brew the from Rock’s Pityme Industrial Estate, and started what is now Sharp’s Brewing Co in earnest.   Almost on the eve of that anniversary, Bill returned to the brewery to join members of the current team to reflect on, and celebrate, what 30 years of Sharp’s brewing success means for the business and the team in creating its world class beer and drinks portfolio.

Molson Coors pledges £4.5 million investment in Sharp's Brewery

Molson Coors Beverage Company has announced plans to invest around £4.5m in the Sharp’s Brewery in Rock, Cornwall over the next five years as part of a £100m investment across its entire UK brewery and beverage network.

Plans include a number of infrastructure upgrades at the site – which is the largest brewer of cask beer in the South West – to increase production capacity and make the brewing process more efficient, supporting Molson Coors’ long-term sustainability goals.
